NC*SA maintains mailing lists for announcements, general discussion,
jobs (both seeking and announcing), and for administrivia of the organization.
ncsa-announce is a moderated announcements-only maillist with very low traffic. ncsa-discussion is for general discussion of matters of interest to systems administrators in North Carolina. Traffic is generally low, but with bursts. ncsa-jobs is for advertising jobs of interest, as well as requests for job openings, to systems administrators in North Carolina. In general, advertising of jobs outside of North Carolina is discuraged on this list. Traffic here is also low in general. ncsa-steer is the mailing list for the NC*SA Steering Committee. The ncsa-steer list is open to, and occupied by, both steering committee members and any interested parties who are not currently committee members. |
